How I Work
Be the person you are meant to be…
After we talk on the phone, we meet in person and I take a thorough history. This allows us to get to know each other better and clarifies how I might be able to help. Then we work together for 3-4 sessions to see if it feels like a “fit.” As I am toward the end of my career, I no longer see children.
We primarily talk to explore your areas of concern. As a Jungian therapist, I use dreams to guide our work. We may also use artwork when appropriate. I am well trained and experienced in many modes of therapy. I meet my client at your areas of concern, and we build from there. In all cases the work is done with the deepest respect and caring. I do EMDR to address traumatic loss.
The Covid pandemic and the state of world affairs today have left the world in a global mental health crisis. Children are suffering serious developmental delays for missing three years of school, and adults are left with depression, confusion about direction in life, anxiety, as well as other grave conditions. Many people are suffering from trauma.
